During the winter months, it can be particularly challenging to ensure that vulnerable groups remain safe. Any accident, where the organisation is at fault, is not only upsetting and can have a harmful effect on the involved person’s wellbeing, it can also have a negative impact on the business through the threat of litigation claims, loss of reputation and increased insurance premiums

ISS Clients range from hotels to offices, retail to financial services. ISS’ approach is as flexible as it is professional. Customers can choose just a single service or a fully managed integrated facility solution made up of numerous business streams. This can range from office cleaning, catering and landscaping to pest control, security and facility services management. With such a varying spectrum of options OUTCO had to provide flexible options with the ability to tailor to specific customer needs.

OUTCO works as the principal winter service provider for Amey under their national partnership with the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). We deliver a highly performing winter gritting and snow clearance service to MOJ prisons each winter season – across Wales, northern England and the West Midlands.

However our client was looking for a sustainable material and asked the experts for assistance. This development would also generate around 25 new jobs for the local community.

Following some recent funding to the trust that was established in 1996, the client contacted OUTCO to assist in the redevelopment of their deteriorating footpaths. This enquiry came following a recommendation to the trust by a previous park and recreational project completed by an OUTCO Project Manager. With a site visit by OUTCO we were able to advise on some cost saving measures that enabled the client to extend the area of resurfacing in their initial plans.
