SURVEYING | SURFACING | LINE MARKING
Following initial discussions and a site survey with the client, OUTCO was tasked with reporting suggested repairs for the park, currently closed due to the COVID pandemic. With the forced closure of the park and no income in way of visitors, OUTCO worked with a minimal budget, bringing solutions to the table to ensure the park received the maximum value for their spend.
Delivery
OUTCO proposed to complete the repairs using a sustainable asphalt solution, MAXIPHALT, a single layer asphalt system, providing speed and cost efficiencies for installation in comparison to a traditional dual layer construction. The single course layer also provides additional benefits such as increased fatigue resistance, reduced water ingress and an improved deformation resistance. The warm mix solution also provides environmental benefits including a 15% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.Completed over two days, OUTCO planed the 39 areas before completing the repairs the following day. As the park was closed there was very little traffic coming into the park so minimal disruption during the works.
The road repairs were filled with Maxiphalt, compacted, bitumen sealed and relined. To maximise on the repairs, the planing removed on day one were laid and compact in the extended car park, repairing further areas at no extra cost. The site was completed with a white line refresh to specific areas, including the ‘Zebra’ crossing before handed back to a happy client.
